The GARE Annual Membership Meeting is an opportunity for all GARE Members to convene over the course of 2-3 days to network, share best practices, participate in exchanges, and harness the power and energy of the broader GARE community. The next Annual Member Meeting will be hosted in 2019 by a GARE Member jurisdiction (TBC). To learn more about the 2018 Annual Meeting, please click here. Registration has already gotten off to a great start. Thank you to everyone who registered already – we are looking forward to seeing you in Oakland on April 29! We will be offering childcare at the 2017 Othering & Belonging Conference during conference session hours. Those needing childcare must sign up by February 28, 2017 so we can plan appropriately. Please email Kevin Figueroa and indicate the days during the conference you need childcare and the ages of children who need care.
All conference proceedings will be wheelchair accessible. We will be offering all keynote and plenary sessions in American Sign Language.
Group Registration Discount
We have a limited pool set aside for groups who want to register more than 10 attendees at one time. The rate for each attendee for groups registering 10 or more people is $225 per attendee, a discount of 25% off our lowest subsidized registration fee. Those wanting to register as a group must pay and register at one time. To register a group, contact Kevin on our conference team.
We have set aside several dozen scholarships for those who otherwise could not attend the Othering & Belonging Conference due to financial constraints. Information on scholarships will be going out in late January 2017. Contact Kevin to be put on the email list for scholarship information or check our website for information regarding scholarship applications in late January.
Our registration system is set up to accept major credit cards. If you are a campus group in the UC system and would like to pay by chartstring, please contact Tomas WhiteAntelope. If you are an individual or company who would like to pay by check, visit our payment section for more information on how to pay with that method.
